Kentucky Tops Mississippi State In SEC Showdown

Brandon Knight scored 24 points and Doron Lamb added 20, as 22nd-ranked Kentucky beat Mississippi State 85-79. Lamb, starting for the first time in a month, hit seven-of-eight shots, including all three of his 3-point attempts to key the victory.

The Bulldogs built an 11-point lead in the first half, and led by one point at halftime. Ravern Johnson came off the bench to score a team-high 21 points in the losing effort.
