Southeast Alabama Camellia Society Meeting
The Southeast Alabama Camellia Society will meet Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 6:00 pm.

The meeting will be held on the ground floor through the double doors and first room to the left. Park in the parking lot at the rear of The Family Life Center of First United Methodist Church. It is located at the corner of Burdeshaw and North Park, Dothan, AL.

We will be discussing our Second Annual Camellia Show and securing the final planning of the show which will be held, Saturday March 5, 2011 from 1:00- 4:00 PM. Please come to the meeting and share and be a part of this wonderful event. This is a great opportunity to get to know everyone and learn more about the Southeast AL Camellia Society in this area.

We welcome anyone that is interested in learning more about our beautiful state flower and if you know of others that would like to learn more about the origin and care of the camellia, please ask them to come with you.

If you have any blooms please bring them with you, Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 6:00 PM at First United Methodist Church in Dothan, AL If you have any questions please call us.

Houston County Republican Women
The HCRW meeting will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011, 11:30 AM, at The Wiregrass Rehab Center, 795 Ross Clark Circle, Dothan, AL. Lunch cost is $10.00. Please make checks payable to HCRW.

All members and guests who plan to have lunch must confirm their lunch reservations for themselves and their guests with Katy Maddox at hcrw@live.com or 334-790-9700 by Monday, February  21 at noon. We need a total count to arrange seating.

Dothan Chamber Of Commerce General Membership Breakfast
The Dothan Chamber of Commerce will hold their general membership breakfast on Monday, February 7 at 7:30 a.m. Th emeeting will be at the Clarion Inn and Suites (Formerly Holiday Inn South).

Special guest speaker for the event is Senator Richard Shelby. Cost is $15 per person for $150 for corporate tables.

LA Hurricanes 12 and Under Travel Baseball Team Tryouts
The LA Hurricanes 12 and Under travel baseball team will hold tryouts on February 6 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Enterprise Recreation Department fields.
