FDOT To Hold Public Hearing Of Repaving Of US 90

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public information meeting regarding the resurfacing of (SR) 10/US 90. The meeting will be held Thursday, February 3, 2011, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Northwest Florida State College, Chautauqua Center, 908 US 90 West, DeFuniak, Springs, Fl.  This meeting will allow citizens an opportunity to preview the proposed design, ask questions, and/or submit comments concerning the upcoming project.

FDOT proposes to resurface US 90 from the Okaloosa County line to Country Club Drive, approximately 15.3 miles.  Additional improvements include:  intersection improvements at SR187 (US 331N) and SR 285, drainage upgrades, safety improvements, and placement of new signs and pavement markings. 

Maps, drawings and other information will be on display.  FDOT representatives will be available to explain proposed improvements and answer questions.  There will no formal presentation or public testimony period.  Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
