Hundreds Line Up To Receive Tax Refund

Its tax season again.

But with that comes tax refund checks and Friday hundreds of people waited in line to get theirs.

It was the first day refund checks were available at San and Dee's Taxes.

The only problem was thee banks didn't release the money in time, causing a mass of people and cars just outside downtown Montgomery.

Police and Fire Marshals even had to come to control the crowd.

But one of the owners says hopefully next week everything will be straightened out.

“Every Friday this is going to be happening but this is basically the biggest drop. So it won't be this packed next Friday and hopefully the bank will have everything done, all the stuff up by Thursday,” said Cassandra Jones, co-owner.

Taxes are due April fifteenth.
