Alabama State Troopers make an arrest stemming from a crash that killed an EMT on December 15, 2010.

Forty-two year old Robert Allen Cumbie of Montgomery was arrested today on a vehicular homicide warrant.

Officials say Cumbie was the driver of a pickup truck that left the roadway on I-65 southbound and struck twenty-nine year old Laura Elizabeth Pullam as she was rendering aid to victims of crash.

Pullam later died at Baptist Hospital.

Authorities say the pickup truck was speeding and was passing traffic that had slowed due to icy road conditions and roadside emergency vehicles.
