Kellie Richards Stepanek

Kellie Richards Stepanek, a resident of Lynn Haven, Florida, died early Tuesday morning, July 13, 2010, in Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. She was 31. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 17, 2010, in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery, near Eufaula, with Reverend B.J. Fore officiating. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P. M. Friday at the mortuary in Abbeville. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, July 18, 2010, in the Lighthouse to the Nations, Panama City, Florida with Pastor Cole Bailey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Memorial Chairperson, P.O. Box 2123, Dothan, AL 36302. Mrs. Stepanek was born in Columbus, Georgia but was reared in Fitzgerald, Georgia. She lived in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Lynn Haven, Florida in 2005. Mrs. Stepanek was a 1997 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. She received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Abraham Baldwin College. Mrs. Stepanek also received a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree from Georgia State University and a Masters Degree in Managerial Finance and Accounting from Keller Graduate School in Atlanta, Georgia. She was currently self-employed as a partner and accountant in the operation of Howell, Stepanek and Golden, P.A. in Lynn Haven. Mrs. Stepanek was serving as treasurer on the Executive Board of the Panama City POPS Orchestra. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas Alonzo Richards, Sr. and Laura Smith Richards and also an uncle, David Dominey. Surviving relatives include her husband, Anthony Jordan Stepanek, Lynn Haven, FL; her parents, Thomas A. (Lonnie) Richards, Jr. and Cynthia Dominey Richards, Eufaula, AL; a sister, Courtney Richards, Panama City, FL; a brother, Austin Richards, Eufaula, AL; her grandparents, Lamar and Betty Dominey, Abbeville; aunts and uncles, Deborah Hatton-Beck and husband, Raymond Beck; Carola Shaw and husband, Gene Shaw; Lorene Jones and husband, Bill Jones; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.www.holmanmortuaries.com
