Quentin P McDuffie (Sonny) passed away peacefully at home with his wife of 71 years and his family at his side on Saturday, July 10, 2010. He was 89. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jody Haddan officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 PM until service time. Survivors include his wife, Mildred E. McDuffie, Enterprise, AL; 2 daughters, Joanne M. Ivey (James R.), Quincy, FL, Linda L. Chadwick (James E.), Enterprise, AL; son, Robert Quentin McDuffie, Dominican Republic; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers.
