Mrs. Ethel B. Davis of Dothan died Monday, June 28, 2010, at her residence. She was 99. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Memory Hill Cemetery with Kenneth Hicks officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Davis was born April 28, 1911, in Geneva County Alabama, the daughter of the late William A. Clark and Emma Della Adams Clark. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford C. Davis, son, Robert Davis, grandchild, Cheryl Lynn Phillips, 8 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survivors include: daughters, Linda Welch and her husband, Stacey of Dothan; Betty Phillips of Dothan; grandchildren, Debbie Lee, Robin Wells, Chris Davis, Clifford Davis, Marcus Davis, Clark Davis, Angela Lewis, Amanda Thompson, Kristie Carroll, great-grandchildren, Ethan Lee, Noah Lee, Anna Lisa Davis, Ashley Davis, Ryan Davis, Evan Davis, Maggie Davis, Erick Davis, Lane Davis, Emily Davis, Hunter Thompson, Taylor Beth Thompson, Kristin Carroll, Haley Carroll, Michaela Carroll, Whitney Dudley, Bethany Dudley, Timothy Dudley, great-great-grandchild, Josslyn Ealy, and daughter-in-law, Gayle Davis of Dothan.
