Mrs. Daisy Mae
Love of Ashford, a resident at Westside Terrace
died Tuesday, June 22, 2010. She was 81.
Funeral services will be held at
10 A.M. Friday, June 25, 2010, at Love Hill Assembly of God Church with
Reverend Marrell Turvin officiating. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery under the direction of Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
The family will
be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, June
24, 2010. Flowers will be accepted. At other times, the family will be
gathered at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, James and Debra
Love.
Mrs. Love was
born October 24, 1928, in Houston County Alabama.
She is preceded
in death by her father, Floyd Cleo Tindell, mother, Johnnie Mae Tindell,
step-mother, Vivia Tindell, husband, James M. “Rooster” Love, brothers,
“Curley Tindell, Uther Tindell, and “Bill” Tindell.
Survivors
include: son, James E. Love and his wife, Debra of Ashford; brothers, James Earl Tindell and his wife, Shirley of
Cottonwood; Wayne Tindell and his wife, Therese of Telico –Planes, TN;
sisters, “Shan” Freeman and her husband, Jerry of Georgetown, TN; Gloria
Chambers and her husband, Tommy of East Point, FL; grandchildren, Tim
Love and his wife, Sandra of Millbrook; Chris Love of Ashford; Daniel
Love and his wife, Christina of Cottonwood; Reia Martin of Millage Vill,
GA; great-grandchildren, Justin Martin, Spencer Martin, and “Soon to
Be,” Brycen Owen Love, sisters-in-law, Natalie Tindell of Lynn Haven,
FL; and Jennie Tindell of East Point, FL.
Pallbearers will be: Gerald Shelley, Johnny Shelley, Gary Welch, Pete Love, Phillip Morgan, and Rickey Moore.
