Van der Sloot Admits To Killing Woman In Peru

Joran van der Sloot has reportedly confessed to the murder of a 21-year-old woman in a hotel room in Peru. The Dutch national suspected of being involved in the disappearance of Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005, could be formally charged as early as today.

According to NBC News, Van der Sloot has told Peruvian authorities he killed Stephany Flores Ramirez after she used his computer without permission and learned of his ties to the Holloway case.

He was quoted as telling the Spanish-language "La Republica" newspaper, "The girl intruded into my private life."

Van der Sloot was arrested last Thursday.
