  • T-Shirts for Turkeys
    Reported by: Scott Packard, SPackard@wdhn.com

    Friday, Nov 13, 2009 @05:45pm CST

HIS Radio is offering t-shirts for turkeys.

The station will give you a free t-shirt for every frozen turkey donated.

The birds will be donated to the Salvation Army and the Wiregrass Food Bank.

"The ultimate goal is that the Wiregrass Area Food Bank and the Salvation Army do that great go that they do each year with helping to feed the deserving families in the area...so it like a community event. We are helping the entire community when we give those frozen turkeys," HIS Radio Program Director Russell Brooks said.

There are several other dates and locations that the station will take donations.
